Update

Hey everyone!
We are getting things smoothed out on our end and we should be up and running within a decent time frame. We had a tragic incident with the bank involving them eating our money and we have been trying to recover. We had just spiced up our blog too!
In good news operation "strawberry lemonade" and "cherry lemonade" cake balls went swimmingly. Everyone seemed to really enjoy them which means that when we are up and running again expect to see them in our shop.
Other good news?
We actually got written about in a blog! Hip Hip Horray! Lol, not even functional and we are still making an impact online. In other news you guys can still donate or suggest recipes to us at:

Back To Tell You .. We'll Be Back Later

So, if you haven't noticed, we haven't been updating much and our shop is on vacation.

If only it was a real vacation .. in Europe or some close-to-the-equator beach. But, alas, the last couple weeks, we've had to do some damage control and we finally pinpointed our main problems. So we decided to close down shop to solidify our recipes/ingredients and then work on shipping to make sure everything arrives how it was shipped.

Some of you may be getting surprise treats in the main all for the price of .. being honest with us on how it shipped and how it tastes. :) If that was me, that would be a pretty awesome day.

While we're taking a break, we will also be working on some new summer recipes including:

Lemonade Float cake balls

and

something to do with raspberries. We haven't figure it out yet, but if you have any ideas, go ahead and shoot them over our way either in a comment or to blusparrowtreats@yahoo.com.

Waking Up

Hello!
We have been super busy on the Blu Sparrow side of things. We actually made enough money to go to the eco-craftacular fair but sadly enough we got into issues with chase bank last week that have hindered us from being able to enter at this time. Always next year right?
With that being said our $2.00 sale is still going on. Which is always a plus and helps us while getting everyone the sweets the need and love.

Pee Wee's Back and So Are We!

You guys guessed it! Our Mystery Box is back and good Old Pee Wee Herman is at the helm running the show just as he was last week!



He actually got some double time action because the first one of the week sold out in ONE HOUR!Since we didnt even have a chance to catch our breath we put him back up which means what is in him is still going to be a secret until after the second purchase of the box!!!!!

Our First

Last night was our first FFF and boy what a night it was. With V being a bit tired from her busy week I took the helm and ran it as blu. We got to interact with alot of the team members and it was all in all a good way to see what everyone else does. There is even a lady who makes candy!!!!!!! I was like sugar candy flavored stick things...SOLD!

With that being said tonight we are having another SNS! Yes I know we are getting into the habit of doing one. It is going to be the same format as last week except maybe there will be a bit more to it. Just means you have to participate to find out what awesome things we have in store for buyers!

3 Days in 1

We made TEAM EEAT!!!!!! Thanx for all of your support guys! Its just a very positive experience when people give back and put in their heart and others do the same. You guys helped make our dream come true and for that we thank you.
With that originally we were going to introduce a ton of things today but alas our pictures for it did not turn out so great. So we will hopefully be introducing are luscious treat next week with a few others.
Also we completely missed our own where have you seen Blu Sparrow day!!!! The original idea was to try and cram 3 days into 1 but lets not rush this lets take it slow. Anyway this is the calander for the end of the week and beyond:

Blu Beginnings

Blu Sparrow had a busy weekend that didnt allow for much wiggle space so I personally apologize for the missing blog of yesterday. We are coming out with a new line of products for you guys. We are also changing a few things in our shop.
On the plus side of the world we are officially running for "Team EEAT" everyone helped us out alot and it just goes to show what a little team work and positive feedback can do. Which is actually alot. We reached our goal Friday/Saturday and we a more than excited to await the decession on the team on whether or not we can be in it.
We are going to be introducing something tomorrow that will blow your mind. Bang Bang Bang BLOWN!
On the negative side we are going to start doing things by season in some cases. This is the last week for Chai Tea until the fall when we bring it back. The pumpkin and sweet cinnamon seasonings is more of a fall treat and we think it would be best to make it more of a fall specialty item. Today's "Blu With Envy" segment caught me by surprise. I rolled over the image and was like hmmm fancy stuffs...but then I read what it was and my eyes had to back track.

Pomegranate Caramels! Why I have never heard of such a thing. So I figured you should hear about it too!

Cherry Womp Womp (Fail Friday)

When we are in the kitchen we think up crazy ideas and last week it was "Cherry Bang Bang" which really turned into "Cherry Womp Womp."
Our idea came from a chocolate cayenne cupcake that we get at our local saloon. So we decided that a chocolate cherry cayenne bar would taste awesome. It did but at the same time we put in too much cayenne. The mixture was too creamy and it turned into fudge. Not exactly what I would call a success story.

It was sweet and then rapidly too hot for either one of us and we both love spicy. So lol, needless to say this is something we will have to work more on until we can get it just right in our shop.
I favor the flavoring and the recipe itself while V is a bit unconvinced. Either way that was our failed recipe for Fail Friday.

V here! I get to write the blog today. Yay! I do things.

So last night we had an explosion of sales. That's amazing. We will definitely be busy on Sunday filling all those orders and sending them out on Monday.

As you may have noticed, someone left us a negative response ( which I personally feel is a little harsh and should just be a neutral.  ). But the silver lining in all of this is we are now reevaluating our packaging to make sure everything ships out ridiculously fresh. 

Getting better and yummier every day.

We are putting our Chadder  Jalapeno up soon. It is sooooooooo good. I whipped up a batch for myself last night and pretty much inhaled it. :3

Hey everyone todays segment of "Where have you seen us", is actually pretty awesome. We have more than "Mycraft" screen shots. This one was taken from another Etsy users blog. We were one of the top things she loved for the week/day. Which is awesome.

We were also tagged by myminimocs for the 6 for 6 and this is what I have and I failed horribly. My sixth folder is a webdesign folder that has only xml code in it which means I couldnt use it. My folder next to it is a program launch folder so I dont have any images in it.
So then I opened a folder in which I new there was images and counted to the 6th folder from there and it turned out to be all photoshop documents. Lol, needless to say my job and work owns my computer. So I went into a new folder then to find that there was only 3 images in it. So here is the third image of the 9th folder...

Fashion as Defined by Blu Sparrow

So this week our band Blu Sparrow went out and got ourselves a little bit "Indie" and in my players case a bit bum like. Lol, but regardless today we introduce to you our new pictures and a seller who we think matches are current style.

When you search for indie you get a ton of stuff that isnt INDIE. Steampunk is not INDIE and buttons with keys on the are not INDIE. Why we picked this hat. Most indie kids are wearing their little newspaper print hats or in some cases just normal skull caps but this one has that little bit of extra flare. Today's Blu With Envy is bakedfresh's Blackberry - Pecan Thumbprints. Which I cant eat because of the pecans but they still look hella delicious!Mmmm, just think about these guys warm, toasty, and dripping blackberry from the center. *drools*
